Laura began dancing in Houston, Texas at The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center. Two years later she started performing with their youth company while attending the High School for Performing and Visual Arts as a dance major. She moved to Albuquerque to go to college at the University of New Mexico. There Laura danced with the Bill Evans Rhythm Ensemble. After that she moved to Chicago and took tap classes for a year before joining Chicago Tap Theatre. She is really looking forward to her first season with the company.
