Little Dead Riding Hood

Little Dead Riding Hood

Synopsis

Discover what happens when fairy tale characters tire of acting out the same stories day after day and yearn to create their own destiny. How each character discovers themselves, and the ensuing struggle between free will and determinism, is at the heart of Chicago Tap Theatre's Little Dead Riding Hood. Part story ballet, part summer blockbuster and all rhythm, this is the seventh full-length Story Show created by CTT. Even more exciting, this will be the first CTT Story Show with all original music by film composer Andrew Edwards. With a cast of twelve male and female dancers, all of whom excel in both tap and other forms of dance, and moments of intense action, irresistible humor and heartfelt emotion, Choreographer and Director Mark Yonally not only creates a whole new take on traditional fairy tales – he also creates a unique new spin on the art of tap dance.
