Thank you, Dowagiac!

As many of you may already know, we hit the road to Dowagiac, MI this weekend to perform as part of the Dogwood Arts Festival. We had such a lovely time and met such great people there. The staff of the festival was absolutely awesome and we even had the pleasure of seeing two great performances by local dance students who opened our show for us. We were so impressed by how precise and energetic their performances were and felt lucky to get to be entertained before we hit the stage for ourselves.

The audience was such a classy and warm group, it is apparent we stumbled upon a community that is deeply thoughtful when it comes to the arts. We also had the pleasure of meeting many of our audience members after the show and received some of the best compliments ever! We definitely changed some minds about tap dance for the best and that felt fantastic.

As always, here are some behind the scenes pics from the trip.♥ CTT

This little guy greeted us as we entered the theater building. We couldn't resist.

Boots and Pfaff running Autumn Leaves during the tech rehearsal.

Had we had more time in town, we could have done a lot of damage at this old fashioned soda shop (Caruso's).

....some of us work quickly though :)

(We will have many more photos coming from the festival photographer Carla - stay tuned!)
